DYLAN GADEK

1) What’s playing on your iPod/Spotify/radio the most these days?
I’ve literally added no new interesting music to my life since college so it would have to be whatever’s on the radio. I’m happiest though when the queen of radio, Ke$ha, is dominating the airwaves.

2) You’re on death row (shame on you!). What’s your last meal?
Assuming I can’t get a meal made out of escape tools, I’d probably go with raw oysters, gigantic ribeye steak cooked rare, and an entire key lime pie.

3) Which famous person would you marry right now, no questions asked, and why?
Giada De Laurentiis. Amazing cook, fabulously wealthy, unreasonably gorgeous. She also seems super fun on her cooking show.

4) If you had a time machine, when/where would you visit, and why?
I’d visit myself from earlier in time and give myself the blueprints to a time machine. Then I could build and sell time machines and become the richest person in history.

5) What’s your best LSAT story?
When I first took the LSAT in 2006 I forgot sign up until literally the last day possibly. Since everywhere was full within 100 plus miles around me I had to drive out of state to get to the LSAT. I had to wake up at 5 a.m. to get to the test on time during a period of my life where I had an extremely strict no-classes-before-1 p.m. policy.

NICK McINTOSH

1) What’s playing on your iPod/Spotify/radio the most these days?
Tough question for a music nerd. I’ve been on a huge post-rock binge the last few months (Mogwai, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Slint), but I’ve recently discovered Miles Davis’s later works, so I’ve had Bitches Brew in heavy rotation.

2) You’re on death row (shame on you!). What’s your last meal?
I’ll start with fried mushrooms as an appetizer. Following that, I’ll have a grilled swordfish and a bag of Reese’s peanut butter cups for dessert. And I’ll wash it all down with a Stone Ruination IPA or six. I may be going to the chair unrepentant, but I’ll definitely be full.

3) Which famous person would you marry right now, no questions asked, and why?
If I were pressed, I’d probably say Uma Thurman. There are prettier celebrities, but there aren’t many cooler performances than Uma as Mrs. Marcellus Wallace in Pulp Fiction. I could live with that marriage.

4) If you had a time machine, when/where would you visit, and why?
I’d love to go back and hang around Caligula, the Roman Emperor. He was a bit perverse, but anyone who names his racehorse as consul must have a pretty good sense of humor.

5) What’s your best LSAT story?
When I was waiting in the test room prior to the administration, one guy shows up 10 minutes before start time without his required picture. Everyone is giving him the evil eye as he tries to get his mother to come back to the test center with pictures, delaying the start of the test. His mom finally shows up right before the proctor was ready to kick him out. He had to cut out a headshot from professional prints, probably setting him back $20. If he would have held out any longer, I’m fairly sure the girl next to me was going to jump up and strangle him.

YUKO SIN

1) What’s playing on your iPod/Spotify/radio the most these days?
I love the Earth Wind & Fire radio station on Pandora.

2) You’re on death row (shame on you!). What’s your last meal?
Most people wouldn’t guess this about me, but I’m actually Bosnian. Any self respecting Bosnian would want a large portion of these bad boys for their last meal with a glass of buttermilk.

3) Which famous person would you marry right now, no questions asked, and why?
Jewel, because of dat voice. Jewel, if you’re reading this, why haven’t you answered any of my letters?

4) If you had a time machine, when/where would you visit, and why?
I’d like to go very far in to the future (maybe 500,000 years?), far enough to meet an alien. Any other answer for this question is just objectively wrong.

5) What’s your best LSAT story?
When I took my first practice LSAT I had never before looked at anything LSAT-related. As luck would have it, I had the Logic Games section first. Within a minute I had decided that you must do all the questions in your head, as there clearly isn’t enough room on the page nor time to diagram anything. I managed to answer four questions, the Elimination questions, and then I went through the five stages of grief in under 35 minutes.

Denial: “Nah, this can’t be that hard, I’m doing great, I just need to…think harder.”

Anger: “Why do I need to know which carwash Rollando gets? This is a test for future lawyers; they should be testing to see how good of LIAR I am!”

Bargaining: “Oh please Jesus, Allah, Buddha, Spirit Bear let me get one more question and I promise I’ll do lots of pro bono work.”

Depression: “Clearly the people going to law school are extremely smart, and I…I am a terrible person; no wonder I never heard back from Jewel.”

Acceptance: “I wonder how long it takes to become a truck driver?”

Somehow I managed to finish my practice LSAT, and I did well enough on Logical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension to reevaluate my ideas about long haul trucking.
