The LSAT can be as Easy as Pi(e)

Happy Pi Day, everyone!

As any good Family Guy fan knows, it’s a wonderful day for pie, or in today’s case, Pi. While we know that (thank God) there is no math on the LSAT, all that studying can work up a powerful hunger. And thus, it is with great pleasure that we present the following list of pies both sweet and savory to calm those Logical Reasoning-induced hunger pangs.

1. Buko Pie

Never heard of it? Can’t say I’m surprised. Buko pie is a traditional Filipino pie made with young coconut custard. Why choose this pie? Well, we all know that multicultural sensitivity is key to conquering Reading Comprehension (remember, historically marginalized cultures always win). There aren’t many better ways to work on that sensitivity than by becoming familiar with that most intimate element of foreign cultures, food.

2. Chicken Pot Pie

Few things are more satisfying and soothing than a bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup. Running a very close second is the classic Chicken Pot Pie. I don’t know about any of you, but for me, nothing says, “I need comfort food,” more than a long day of LSAT study. And while you may not have the time to make your own flaky crust, Marie Callender’s would be more than happy to help you out. You need only take a trip to the freezer section of your local supermarket.

3. Banana Cream Pie

Why Banana Cream Pie? Because it’s amazing. Pair it with a cup of your favorite coffee as you while away the later hours of the evening working on your Logic Games setups, and slip momentarily into a world of pure dessert and caffeine ecstasy.

4. Peach Pie

Peaches are possibly the most delectable of stone fruits. Their perfume and delicate, juicy flesh make them an ideal dessert. Throw some Reddi-wip on top of your slice of goodness, and everything (even your feelings about the LSAT) will be…wait for it…peaches and cream.

Best of luck to you in your studies, I think I’ll head to The Apple Pan now for a slice of Banana Cream Pie.
